The CAF (Centre for Fasciopathy Care) is dedicated to a pioneering concept in medicine: fasciopathy, which is the dysfunction of the superficial fascia. Although it is a little-known term, it has great potential for the future in understanding and treating chronic pain. We specialise in this fundamental tissue for movement and bodily function, which is often the still-unknown cause of many painful disorders.

Unlike other centres that address multiple conditions, the CAF focuses exclusively on superficial fasciopathy, offering a clear, specialised, and transparent approach.

The CAF exclusively uses the SMP technique (Subcutaneous Multipoint Puncture), a minimally invasive, non-pharmacological method with low iatrogenesis and very well tolerated by patients.

With the SMP technique, 8 out of 10 patients experience significant improvement from the very first session, making the CAF a fast and highly effective option.

At the CAF, the patient indicates where they experience pain or functional limitation, and these areas become the initial focus of the treatment, placing the patient at the centre of the therapeutic process.

Our therapists perform a manual examination through palpation, an essential diagnostic tool that establishes direct and close contact with the patient, highly valued especially in the treatment of chronic pain.

With a clear rate of £80 per session lasting 30 to 60 minutes and an average of only 3 sessions needed, the CAF makes it easy for patients to plan and afford their treatment in an accessible and transparent way.
